Since 1860, Lindenwood Cemetery has served Allen County families by providing a beautiful final resting place for community residents. Because we take our role in the community seriously, we host regular tours for local school groups. Ages range from kindergarten to college level. Tour types vary from a two-hour emphasis on Fort Wayne History (featuring our Pioneers Resting in Historic Lindenwood and The Lindenwood Story books that are given to schools at no charge) to a multi-day event that encompasses multiple classes including history, math, science and art.

Lindenwood sponsors a wide variety of community events each year. Many of those events are held at our cemetery, including ARCH activities, community fundraisers, Civil War Re-enactments, POW Motorcycle Ride, Open House Christmas Memorial, Galloping Gobbler 4-Mile Run, Leaf Identification program, Northeast Indiana AIDS Memorial events and many others.
